Alan Price

Alan Price is a live performer and singer/songwriter from Charleston, South Carolina USA.   Alan spent his formative years touring, performing on stage and in studio with a number of successful bands, including multiplatinum rock band Shinedown and an array of other musical artists.  His influences span a wide range of music from current rock, pop, blues, country and alternative hits to the classic songs and artists that we all love, bringing his own brand of soulful, dynamic energy to many events across the US. His experience as a performer shines through in his ability to weave together a thoughtful playlist from his favorite artists and to “read the room” to find just the ideal soundtrack, garnering smiles and lasting memories at every event.

In the early months of 2020, Jason and his family made the move from Toledo, Ohio to their favorite vacation spot Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. With classics such as Tom Petty, The Beatles, The Band, Cat Stevens, Van Morrison, Bob Marley, all the way to modern greats like Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, Sublime, John Mayer and many more, Jason aims to please the ears of everyone in his audience in some way, shape or form. His music is acoustic guitar-driven and backed by live-looping technology laced with beat-boxes and rhythms. His laid-back, uplifting demeanor come through at the forefront of his skillful guitar playing and soulful vocals to offer an enjoyable experience to his audience.

Mike plays your favorites. Popular songs from the 1950’s through today. Every song he plays, you will know, you might even sign along. Oldies, classic rock, country, bluegrass, reggae, 80’s, 90’s, and modern. You won’t hear a ‘B’ side, you won’t hear ‘here’s an original’, you’ll only hear the songs you love, one after another, all night long!

Voted Best Local Americana/Folk/Roots Band/Artist -  2022   (Connect Savannah).  Harnessing a wide range of influences from Tom Petty and Jack Johnson to Steve Earle and James Taylor, and straining them through an easy-going filter that embodies life on Coastal Georgia and South Carolina, coupled with imagery invoking that coast, Eckstine has grown from his John Prine influenced roots into a singular singer/songwriter inspired heavily by his home of nearly twenty years.
